Lorecast V discussion

In this episode we asked a lot of questions that need further discussion. Specificaly:

1. Should we change the Dwarrow name? If so, to what?
2. Any thoughts on the characters who live in Tharbyss?
3. Are you interested in being a host, or being on a discussion panel?
4. Do you like pretty ponies?

Well, I listened to the lorecast. Some pretty good info, and really good insight to how you guys view the world and where you want to take it.
1)Personally, I think the name Dwarrow sounds and looks really cool. However, after listening to the lorecast, I can definitely see where the problems could be. I think it comes down to how much cliche you think you can take. If you really don't mind the reference and association, by all means, use it. However, if you are really trying to stay original, I would change it.
Or maybe just circumnavigate the problem by changing to races names with each other. Cortar comes to my mind. But you two are the guys with the real vision, so whatever you decide, just make sure you agree with it.
No regrets with RoR.
2)I listened to the lorecast, but what is the Tharbyss? Its not the abyss with all the demons and mutants is it? Because if it is, I got some ideas.
3)To be frank, I have no desire to be a host. I just like hearing my name spoken in association with something important.
4)I love pretty ponies.
They are delicious.
5)I also like the ideas and direction you were talking about with the wildlife. Some genuinely unique and interesting ideas.

Hey Duman, thanks for the feedback.

1. On the Dwarrow thing, I'm still undecided. I'm leaning toward just a slight change, to something like Darro, or Deru. I dont think I'd consider swapping another races name, since for me most of the current ones fit well.

2. Tharbyss is the town that's on Karthor Minor. You could be forgiven for being confused- since we were mostly relying on past refferences to it. The abyss with all the demons and mutants is just called the abyss

id like to be a host if you talk me thru it on msn, remember my use of technology is limited out side scroto shop,

i hate ponys more than i hate rabbits, but not as much as gingers..

as for the characters, that one requires more planning and thinking.
