Greetings traveler,

If you are new to our project let me take a moment to welcome you. This is the thread we are temporarily using to coordinate our active progress on the Realms of Renth: Nirune project. Forums can be messy business, and ours in particular is sort of a sea of info, much of which is fun but not highly relevant. So, see this thread as your beacon to help you navigate the seas, and find the relevant threads where the real action needs to be taking place in our project.

There are two major areas in our project that need attention. One is our revamp of our basic game design, and the other is our prototype. The prototype is going to take place on the island of Karthor Minor and is going to feature limited features selected from the ones we hope to implement in the full game.

Kartor Minor threads

The Master List
This is the most important thread for concept artists and modelers because it has a list of all the objects we need concepts of, and links to any approved or suggested concepts (first post). If your are looking for work, start here.

Architecture
This thread is a little messy, but you'll see where we've been going with the discussion.

Prototype Quest discussion
A preliminary discussion of a quest to implement in the prototype, subject to change of course.

Prototype discussion
This is a thread for general planning and discussion of the prototype. A rather venerable thread, the last pages are where the more up-to-date info lives.

Karthor Isles Discussion
This is more of a resource than an active thread. This is a discussion of the region where Karthor Minor lies

Game design threads

Skills stats and Leveling
A currently active gameplay discussion.

Gameplay Roadmap
A guide to the order we are going to be looking at parts of our game in the coming months.
